I was thinking about your question - What if my JOB is to have an Extraordinary Life? The word job has been raddling around for me - what if my JOB- ie WORK is to have an Extraordinary life? And I thought about this today as I was noticing myself feeling frustrated with creating a JOB that I love, that creates abundance.

I thought it’s interesting how every day, I enjoy watching the tulips on my balcony grow. I planted them about 5 weeks ago. And every day I wake up and get giddy with every small change I see. I have no doubt that one day each one will flower. I get captivated by the process but when it comes to creating my service in the world I get frustrated and impatient and start thinking it isn’t happening. I start wondering, what if the seeds I’ve been planting aren't taking root – rather then just totally enjoying and trusting the process.

I love this question – what if my job is to have an Extraordinary life! What if money comes because I ask it to (contrary to what my parents said, what if it really does grow on trees and that money is really a separate equation from work? What if I was to have weekly Job reviews - rating the quality of my life rather than the balance of my checking account? What if my JOB – my Work is to have an Extraordinary life. What would make today extraordinary? And what is the legacy I want to live? Funny how I feel both panic and excitement – freedom and disbelief that that could be true!
What if I just stopped stressing/pushing/proving/comparing and said thank you for all the support and abundance I have in my life. What if I didn’t have to do it alone and I could be grateful for collaboration and support? What if my Job was to have an extraordinary life? Hmmm - yes, my life is extraordinary! Well then I guess I’m doing a pretty good JOB!
And the question I want to answer is: What do I want to contribute? That’s a really good question!

thank you Kris -

YOU? Nervous in front of people? Pshawww!

Wonderful and challenging message. This message rings in harmony with my Vision statement (thank you LifeWorks) "My vision is to enjoy my life and help others to do the same." I say it just about every day, along with my contract. These are powerful affirmations for me and help me stay on track with my life.

My mantra has been to "Wake up and live in the Now". It has been a slow process, but i feel that i am slowly but surely getting there. I keep praying for help with gratitude and practice staying diligent with patience.

thank you for the work that you do. it is good to see your smiling face online!

love-

I am so amazed at this blog; it is such a warm extention of you. I have been feeling the need to reconnect with the skills I learned in PES; and have felt frustrated with myself for falling so far away from my goals. I am looking forward to attending crossover, however circumstances and timing have not worked out as quickly as I would like them to. Hence I feel blessed to have this blog to help me refocus my goals.
Warm wishes, Dulcie

Hello Kris,
What a great question to lead off with and a real boost in these interesting times. I am guessing you filmed without an audience, so I would recommend you get some local wing nuts in for the next one. People with alive eyes who can respond to your broadcast as its happening. As a previous writer noted, some of the sparkle and joy you bring to your teaching was missing. having made recordings before, I completely understand how that happens. Your wisdom and good energy are needed more than ever. i would love to see you blog with some True Colors teens about ways to be strong and true as a young person, also more reading like at night when you read to participants before bed, hearing you affirm our living is a great thing. Another topic would be some from Namaste, interfaith dialogues.
Peace to you Listening Heart,
Radient Fire Playful Water

Thank you, Kris! As someone else already said, I very much appreciate having you right here with me, hearing your voice and seeing you! I am reminded of being at Wings. You have such a special way with words that help me reconnect with what I really want in my life. Thank you!

Thank you, Kris, for this video! I felt uplifted watching it. I feel inspired that you told us you were afraid, but you did it anyway. There is something I have been on the fence about mostly due to fear, and seeing you encourages me to do it anyway too.

What I would change is the starting frame where the video is still just before playing. It is frozen on your expression that to me looks sad and tired. I would make sure it starts with a frame of you looking how you want to look.

What I want to hear more about is forgiveness. Such as, How do I know when I've truly forgiven? Does the forgivee need to know about it? Is it necessary to instantly forgive in order to live fully in the present moment?

Thank you.
