I just finished listening to your interview with Cyrus and hearing your voice brought back memories from the early days of Wings and my presence there. You speak with the same peace and gentleness, confidence, honesty and humor that I recall–made my heart sing. I was excited when your book came out and hurried to purchase 2 (one for my daughter and myself). Then it sat on my shelf for months until today when I began reading and following your interview. I looked at your book as a precious gift and I wanted to wait untill I could give it my full attention. How foolish of me! Agift it is and precious beyond words. It will be savoured, chapter by chapter. Thank you for climbing out on the limb when you weren’t sure and thanks for dedicating it to your Mom. Ilost my Mom 26 yrs. ago and it makes your book even sweeter for me. Bless you and your family in 2010. Hang on tight …your star is rising fast. Hear the applause and know I am so happy for you. Thank you for being an inspiration to women.

    Hi Kris,
Your New Year’s Day radio interview could not have been more timely – 2009 has been difficult, and I was facing 2010 with the glass half empty, feeling somewhat overwhelmed and hopeless, and not even wanting to think about New Year’s Resolutions. And, as I listened to you speak, I was reminded that I GET TO CHOOSE so many things, and that I had stopped choosing, and was just reacting instead – hence, that feeling of being at the mercy of forces beyond my control. So – I made ONE New Year’s Resolution: Begin CHOOSING again. And my first choice was to order your book “My Heart Has Wings” – because every once in a while, I need a little inspirational reminder to stay present and accountable…and to CHOOSE. Thank you, Kris, for sending out an email invitation today to listen to your motivating interview … and for the inspiring example that you provide to so many of us by the LIFE that you have CHOSEN to LIVE and the WOMAN that you have CHOSEN to BE.
Blessings to you and yours in 2010,
    ~Windy McNabb (PES graduate 2007)

I really enjoyed listening to your interview on Conversations Live! My husband and I have both gone through PES, Crossover, and Lifeworks, and I was thrilled to get your book for a Christmas present.

I am going to enjoy working through each chapter this year and reliving my wings experience. Reading My Heart Has Wings fits beautifully into my new perspective on New Year’s resolutions. This year, I am vowing to cook with more basil, read the Jane Austin cannon, reach out to people I love, read my new subscription to Rolling Stone magazine from cover to cover, and wear really comfy socks. I have my copy of your book next to me and an empty notebook. Yummy! Thank you for the gift of your story and best wishes for a juicy and inspired 2010.
